My name is Nikki Shoemaker.

I grew up drawing in the front covers of my coloring books and on the back of paper placemats in restaurants. I did well in art classes throughout school and was encouraged to take it to the next level and apply for art school.

I graduated in 2001 from Columbus College of Art and Design and walked away wanting to create art in the children’s market.

I live in South West Ohio, near where I grew up and I am married to a wonderful man named Jacen. We have three beautiful girls, Ananke,

Kaya (they are Alaskan Huskies)

and Allie (a tabby cat).
